Our Story

Born out of a lifelong connection to Port Hardy, the vision was simple: to build a vibrant, inclusive space where both residents and visitors can gather and connect. Our goal is to offer an environment that feels both elevated and deeply familiar, a space shaped by the people who live and work here, reflecting the rugged hospitality of the north coast.

This respect for our surroundings dictates exactly how we approach our food. Our menus are crafted through the lens of long-term sustainability and our position on the 50th Parallel. We thoughtfully balance our culinary ambitions with what we can source directly from Vancouver Island and its surrounding coastline, always keeping accessibility at the core of our offerings. We feel privileged to have access to these ingredients.

Port Hardy is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Kwakiutl (Kwa-gyu-th) people and is home to the Gwa’sala-’Nakwaxda’xw Nations. We recognize that we operate on Indigenous land, alongside the producers and partners who make our menus possible. It is through their stewardship of these resources and their hospitality to us, that we are able to extend ours to you.
